Originally built to support the fabrication of large scale object sculpture, the SAIC Sculpture Courtyard became an under-utilized space during the 1990's. The Knowledge Lab Avant Gardeners have re-purposed the space and are exploring its potential as an urban greenspace and living laboratory for agri+cultural experimentation. This project generously funded by the National Endowment for the Arts in collaboration with the Resource Center.
